We invite you to share a little piece of our paradise as well as a bit of our history. Eagle Waters Resort was Eagle River’s first settlement then occupied by fur traders, woodsmen, and loggers. In mid-1800 the property consisted of a trading post, bank and the first regional post office. The area was given the Indian name “Kee-Mi-Con” (Pronounced Kee-Mee-Con) which when translated means, “I have found it”. When you witness the spectacular southwest sunsets and eagles in flight, you will understand the concept of “Kee-Mi-Con”.
Today Eagle Waters is a four-season historical resort offering an array of amenities as well as 40 unique lodging units, including condos, duplexes and cottages and new in Summer of 2007, the Kee-Mi-Con Lodge and Kee-Mi-Con Trading Post.
